I Have A Serious Addiction

09 Sep 2008, 12:16

That's right. And that addiction is buying old games I missed every chance I get. I literally blow my cash on games nearly every week, and I know it's going to come back and haunt me in the future, but I just can't stand to miss out on those games. I mean, I thought I was fine after I got DMC 3, but now I am fixated on replacing Final Fantasy VII, buying Final Fantasy IX, and buying the Ratchet & Clank/ Jak & Daxter series. I also have a few Wii games I plan on buying. So is this a horrible trait about me? Do any of you suffer from the same thing?

Hell that's probably the smart thing to do. Be able to play a bunch of great games for lower than their original cost sounds good to me. Right now I'm just using GameFly for that purpose and buying the big games that I actually want to own, but of course GameFly can be kind of slow sometimes, and some games are practically never in stock.

I have the same problem, but with CDs.
And a person listens to a lot more music compared to how often they play games.
I've wasted a truckload of money simply because I refuse to DL albums.
I do this with games too of course sometimes, but mostly music.

I'm basically the exact opposite of you. I waste a lot of money on games, but DL them from time to time. I mostly download albums from torrent sites but will buy them on the rare occasion.

Yes it's a horrible trait. I despise you for it. I hate your very existence for it.
I'd liken it to Hitler, his attempts to blow a countries resources on eradicating all people or races who ever pissed him off.

Damn it Stett... your the anti-christ.

I'm addicted to buying games that are cheap but not necessarily good. Take Haze for instance. I knew it sucked, I vowed never to waste my time on it, but as soon as I saw that game with a seven dollar price tag, I bought it anyway. Hold me :(

You fix "you're" but not "country's?" You both fail.
