I was hoping you were right, but it looks like that's not the one I was talking about. It's a great game though, so definitely added.

Vectorman ring a bell?

I wasn't too fond of Vectorman, but only because I sucked at it. I couldn't even beat the stupid helicopter on the first level, and after buying the sega genesis collection I've found that I still can't.

Edit: Okay! After looking around The Vault, I finally found it. It's a game called "ranger-x". Added to the list.

Never ever EVER play the death and return of superman on genesis. It's your typical beat 'em up, but you will have thoughts of jamming a pencil in your eardrums. Frequently. There's just one track and it loops continuously throughout the ENTIRE game with some relentless beeping sixteenth notes. It never ends. This game might be worse than superman 64 just because of the shit music.

Ranger-X is just as good as I remember it. Seriously if you've got 30 minutes, download it and use some game genie codes to give you infinite lives. To change powers, jump on your bike that follows you and press down to morph into it. While inside your bike, you can shoot your cannons at a faster rate and holding down bounces you up for higher areas. For really high areas you have to use your boosters. If you're in a level where they give you an airship instead of a bike, do they same on the top platform. I don't think you can control the airship though, it's mainly a slow cannon that follows you around. Each level has a secret power and I think there's like 7 of them. Of course, you could use a cheat to get them all at once and just use the green laser beam that annihilates half the screen, but that's no fun.

Yeah I can't get past the first couple enemies in Vectorman -- only reason I tried again after I died so thoroughly is because the animations were sexy smooth, and I like sexy, smooth things.

I'll download Ranger X when my internet quota fills itself up again and I'm no longer stuck on hellish dial-up speeds. I've been playing alot of retro games lately for some reason, probably because I'm too poor to afford any new games :S

What are you guys? Pussies? The only time I ever hit a wall in Vectorman was into the...I think near the end. I was able to beat the beginning stages ever since I was 5.
